I like how these little flaps work
Neat hangers are included for the summer season!
Finally put in the all weather mats in to my families Odyssey. Does Oppo like all weather floor mats?

we got rubber mats for all our cars at home, they're good when they work, and keep salt out of the carpet.

I'm a fan. The OE mats in my '89 truck died last year. My awesome wife and son got me a set of WeatherTechs. The fit is excellent and they do a great job of handling the snow that always sticks to boots and shoes. Best feature was while unwrapping them, my (then) 14 month old son picked one up and walked to the door saying, "Dad! Truck!". We had fun installing them together.

my favorite are the Volvo sets for RWD cars, especially for the 240 and 740. Someone was thinking when they designed those 35 years ago

I did not see any flaps, only air vents. Where are they?

In the third row behind the middle seat (2nd picture)

I only see air vents. Anyway, what do the flaps do?

I bought very similar mats for my C300 when I bought the car, best $80 I've spent and have saved my carpet from dog crap and gum.

Those are the flaps.

I think you are confusing the word "flap" with the correct word "vent". A vent is a directional outlet from an air duct (a heat duct between the seats in your case). A flap is something totally different.

a piece of something thin, such as cloth, paper, or metal, hinged or attached only on one side, that covers an opening or hangs down from something."the flap of the envelope.
Since I see no hinge or piece that could be called a "flap" then what you are trying to show us is a "vent".

Hmm, now I am really confused so here is a screen shot of what I see in the post.
The only vents I see are on the center stack of the console on the 3rd pic of the post (2nd picture in my screen shot). Please screenshot what appears on your screen.

I see the vents in both of the pictures you sent. There are two vents up front in the center of the dash console and I also see two more floor vents that appear to be between the third row seats, pointing down near the new rubber floor mats. Unless I am missing something, I don't see the "flaps" the original poster is talking about.

I've outlined the flaps in red. These can be turned upward it seems to prevent nasty stuff from getting under the 2nd row.
This is what they look like on the weathertech site:

Ok, I see it now, those are rubber flaps on the floor mats, not air vents under the seats. Those are some great quality mats there.

Indeed. They may look ugly, but the benefits outweigh the negatives.

Unwrapping them is quite a process! :)

I think they look fine, the carpet in my car is black and so are the mats so they aren't noticeable.

True. They do look better in black interiors.
